Review: B&BW Japanese Cherry Blossom Waterless Hand Sanitizer
Name: Japanese Cherry Blossom Waterless Hand Sanitizer
Product: 5/5
Price: $3-4
Available: Bath & Body Works Stores, and Bath & Body Works Online
I have been a huge fan of waterless hand sanitizers for the longest time. I never go anywhere without one or five sanitizers in my purse. I always used to buy Purell and other brands similar to that one, before I came across these in Bath & Body Works. I always hated the smell of the sanitizers, but I loved the cool and refreshing feeling that they gave me. So I continued to use them, and I always applied hand lotion or creme after using these because they would dry my skin out to no end. It was very annoying.
Fortunately I was introduced to the these from B&BW and I can honestly say, that I will never willingly switch back to normal hand sanitizer. These run a little bit more expensive than your normal sanitizer, but I think the extra cost is well worth it. These come in a pump bottle, and they are actually foaming sanitizers. It’s liquid inside the bottle, but when you pump it out, it comes out as a sweet smelling foam. When you rub these into your skin, you still get the cooling sensation, but you DON’T get the usual dryness that comes with drugstore bought sanitizers. I feel that these sanitize your hands just as well as the Purell version, because they also contain alcohol, which is the main ingredient which kills the germs. The plastic jar contains about 1.7 fl oz of product with has lasted me a few months with constant use. Which for me is using several times daily.
Final Thoughts: I think this is a great product and it really works well. I do a lot with my hands at work and I constantly whip this stuff out to give me a little pick me up during the day. The scent is the same in these products as they are in the body care, so there is no problem of the quality between the two products. I highly recommend these to anyone who likes using hand sanitizer, and doesn’t enjoy the dry feeling you get after using one.
NYX Youtube Expert: TheFashionMaven
Youtube is a beautiful site, you can find practically ANYTHING on there, and I can get lost surfing through that site. Infact, I’ve put off writing posts on this blog to watch this “must see” video. Right now my obsession with youtube centers quite a bit around TheFashionMaven, who has posted many MANY videos on different NYX products. She is a repersentive and it seems that she owns ever product that NYX has released.
I typically do not like watching makeup and swatch videos on youtube just because it’s very hard to see the product’s true color or it’s a very blurry swatch. So these two problems bother me to no end, but with TheFashionMaven, you don’t have that problem. All of her videos seem like they are done in natural light and the camera that she uses pick the colors of each product very well, better than many, many, many other youtubers out there. I am even including the makeup God of Youtube, Enkore in this group. Some of his swatches are either too dark or the lighting is not right, Hers have been as spot on as you can get in a video.
I hope you enjoy her videos as much as I do
She has helped even me out when it comes to deciding what to get.
Repo: Chase The Morning
Last night, another scene from the movie Repo The Genetic Opera debuted on MySpace TV. This is one of my favorite songs from the entire movie, and it is absolutely gorgeous. It is a duet between world renown opera singer SARAH BRIGHTMAN and actress Alexa Vega. This song absolutely rocks my freakin’ socks, and everyone and I mean EVERYONE needs to see this video.
So watch it, love it, and post it everywhere your little heart desires
And since we are the subject of Repo, I want to add the Zydrate Anatomy scene clip as well. This is the first full length scene from the movie to make its debut online. This is also the clip that has Paris Hilton in it as Amber Sweet. I was pleasantly surprised to see her doing a good job in this scene.
If you guys love this videos and want to know more head on over to www.repo-opera.com to check out the site and join the message boards.
CCO & Bealls Outlet Haul
NOTE** For some reason I cannot fathom, my camera is no longer attaching to my computer, so I cannot do any pictures
. **
So today, I made my very first trip down to the St Augustine Outlet Malls, where a Cosmetic Company Outlet store is conveniently located. After hyperventilating over all the discounted MAC, I happily dug into the all the goodies and chose the pieces that would eventually make their way home with me. I also went to the Bealls Outlet store which is near the CCO and I also picked up a lot of goodies there as well.
Here is my pictureless haul from today:
CCO:
Helium Pigment (13.75)
Pink Clash lipglass (10.00)
Jadeye & Haunting fluidliners (10.50 each)
Together everything came out to be $48 with tax. I think that was a pretty damn good deal
After hitting up the CCO, I headed over to Bealls to check out what they have, and I walked out with a bunch of stuff there as well. At Bealls, they had a bunch of Revlon makeup marked 70% off and as I was digging through the baskets, I came across LANCOME lipsticks priced at $9.99, with 70% off that. So I got a LANCOME lipstick for $3.00.
MAJOR SCORE!
So here is everything I grabbed at Bealls:
Lancome lipstick in Luxe (3.00)
Revlon Golden Affair Blush in Naughty or Spice (1.50)
Revlon ColorStay Overtime Lipcolor in Perennial Plum / Sterling Plum (1.20)
Revlon ColorStay Overtime Lipcolor in Endless Spice / Copper Nude (1.20)
Revlon ColorStay Overtime Lipcolor in Boundless Brandy / Platinum Pink (1.20)
Bamberry Parfum An Impression of Burberry Weekend Women (3.99)
Fantastic Dream Parfum: An Impression of Midnight Fantasy Britney Spears (3.99)
All of this together came out to be around $17 and change for everything. Which is a WIN for me, considering that I love longwear lipcolors and I was able to score three gorgeous colors for less than $5. I know that many people dislike perfume impressions, saying that they are too fake and cheaply made. Well, I can honestly say that the two perfumes I picked up at the store today smell DIVINE and that they last a very long time. After I bought the perfumes at noon today I sprayed each wrist with the perfumes and the scents are still going strong over 9 hours later, so I think they were more than worth the money.
So that was my haul today, and I really wish I could show all of you pictures of everything, but until I can either get a new camera or figure out how to fix this one, this blog will be severely deprived of pictures.
Until Next Time!!
Womanizer, Womanizer, Womanizer
Unless you have been living under a rock, you have heard that Britney Spears is making her comeback at the end of this year with the release of Circus, her sixth studio album. Her latest single Womanizer has been blowing up the charts since it was released a few weeks ago. This song is super catchy and I have to admit, that Britney looks effing AMAZING in the video, and the guy is also f**king gorgeous. He has played certain roles in my recent dreams….
So here is the video for Womanizer, and make sure you have least an half hour blocked off to watch this video, because you will want to watch it over and over again!!
You can thank me for getting this song stuck in your head.
BTW: I LOVE those shoes she’s wearing in the chauffeur scene. Those things are FIERCE!!!

MAC: Hair Jan ‘09
Not much about this collection is known – only that it corresponds to hair – and what colors flatter different hair colors. I am not quite sure this is a good idea, because I subscribe to the school of thought that believes that colors should be chosen based on skin tone, not hair color.
But no matter – some of these colors sound absolutely gorgeous, and even though I am a brunette, I will probably end up hauling something from each hair color.

Big Storage, Little Space
Like many makeup junkies, I have a TON of makeup, nailpolish and other cosmetic goodies, and I have very little room to put all my little lovelies. So I am CONSTANTLY on the look out for new ways to hold my booty. So when I was surfing around on WalMart.Com, I came across this totally cute and totally affordable cd stand.
I think this would be perfect to hold eyeshadows, palettes, nailpolish, lipglosses, anything you little beautiful heart desires. It costs around $50 and it is an online only item, but WalMart does this free service called “From Site to Store” in which the site will ship this item to your local store for free, and then you can simply pick up your loot there.
The dimensions of this stand are 9.88 x 8.25 x 36.25 in inches, so it’s about 3ft tall, which means you can fit a lot of stuff into this thing. I think this would look good anywhere you would want to fit it, and it’s thin enough to fit almost anywhere.
You can check out the stand here
