In and Out # 1
I have seen a lot of bloggers do their versions of the “in and out” list. So I thought I would do my own as well.
In:
Bath and Body Works – Ile De Tahiti INU in Tiare Flower. This is a new scent from B&BW, and it’s HEAVEN!! I already adored the scent of the Tiare Flower and this one is absolutely perfect. I have both the body lotion and the perfume.
Target Exclusive 3 Disc Twilight DVD – If you are a fan of the Twilight movie / books and you have yet to get the dvd – stop what you are doing and go to Target RIGHT NOW and pick up the Target exclusive version of the movie. This version has the standard 2 disc -but it also has a lot of Target only extras on a third disc. I love Rob’s commentary, he is freakin hilarious!!
EcoTools Mineral Makeup 5 Piece Set – This is the newest kit from EcoTools, and it includes a blender eyeshadow brush, a concealer brush, a blush brush and a baby kabuki brush. These brushes are just THAT amazing, and I picked up the set from Walgreens for $12 and change. I use the baby kabuki for loose mineral blush. It buffs it in very nicely.
Kingdom of Loathing – This isn’t beauty related, but this game has become my addiction. I used to play it all the time back in 2005, but I grew out of it. Now I’m all about the KOL again. It’s stupid and funny and all around made of awesome!
Out:
Manual Toothbrushes – I got hooked on using battery operated toothbrushes and my teeth had never felt better. I’ll never use another plain jane toothbrush again, if I can avoid it.
The Situation at Work - I work at a tiny little motel / inn and for the past few months, the current couple who own it are working on selling the place to another couple who want to make some radical changes to it. I am getting tired of not knowing if the sale is going through or not. My job won’t change – so I’ll still be working even under the new owners. I just want this sale over and done with.
Walgreens Getting Rid of Jane Cosmetics – I was seriously saddened when I found out that Walgreens was getting rid of Jane Cosmetics. They are the only store that is near me that puts Jane on BOGO Free. So this royally sucks. I love Jane blushes.
CVS Sale on Sally Hansen!!
For the first time, I know of, CVS has put all of there Sally Hansen cosmetics on sale, BOGO FREE!!! I have been dying to try out some of the Carmindy Natural Beauty line, and since I don’t an Ulta near me, I had to wait for CVS to go on sale.
Well for this week, all Sally Hansen products are BOGO Free, so now would be an excellent time to try out her products. I picked up two lipsticks today, and I’m planning on trying out her foundations as well.

In My Opinion: Best Drugstore Lipglosses
I hope to make this a new series in where I post lists of products that I think are the best. This one is all about lipglosses. You don’t have to agree with me, that’s one of the great things about having your own opinion!
Wet N Wild Speed Glosses ($3.99): I these are some of my newest acquisitions, but I already love them a lot. These come in a squeeze tube with a hard plastic applicator, that spreads the product easily. These are slightly sticky, and are very pigmented. There is a distinct minty taste in these glosses. They remind me of the B&BW C.O. Bigelow squeeze glosses.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss ($6.99): These have long been a favorite of beauty junkies around the world. They are non sticky, long lasting and come in a wonderful selection of colors. These glosses are pigmented, but can also be applied sheerly as well. I find that I can wear these alone or paired with a lipstick. There is barely any taste or scent to these glosses, so they are perfect for people who do not want or like taste or fragrance in their lipglosses.
Milani Crystal Gloss ($3.99): If I didn’t know any better, I would think that these glosses were MAC lipglasses in a different tube. Crystal Glosses have the same texture, scent and staying power as the lipglasses, only with a much, much smaller price tag. I only have one of these right now, but I absolutely adore it, and it has proven itself to be a wonderful, high quality gloss.
Milani Lip Mixers($6.99): Even though these are brand spankin’ new on the market, I already feel that these are some of the best glosses available. The idea behind these glosses, is that you mix the three different layers in the tube to get one shimmery, highshine color. I love these glosses, because they are heavily pigmented, and that they last for a good while on the lips. The scent is pleasant to me, it’s a grape-y scent that some people may like or dislike. The taste and scent goes away after a few minutes though, leaving a gorgeous gloss behind. I have four of these, and I love every single one of them. It’s a good thing that these are permanent.
NYX Mega Shine Lipgloss($4-5): For the longest time, these glosses were the only ones that I wore. The texture was smooth and non sticky, and they were long lasting compared to other non sticky glosses. They are also quite pigmented, only a few of them are sheer. The scent to me, is very pleasant, it reminds me of cherry lollipops. My HG nude gloss is in the shade Natural, which is the perfect brown / pinkish color. Even though I have these glosses listed under drugstore, NYX isn’t really found in many drugstore/ chain stores. They can be found online, and at random Beauty Supply stores. They are well worth the search.
Sally Hansen Lipnotic Gem Gloss ($6.99): Two words: DAZZLEGLASS DUPES! These glosses came out last year around the time MAC’s DazzleGlass lipglasses came out. I feel that these glosses by Sally Hansen are really good, cheaper alternatives of the expensive MAC ones. Both glosses are sheer, while being overloaded with shimmer and shine. Many people are split on these glosses, some like the Sally Hansen ones, while others do not feel that they are good alternatives. I personally love these, and they work well for both day time and night time.
Sally Hansen Natural Butter Lip Shine ($5.99): Last, but certainly not least, are these glosses. The texture is interesting, it reminds me of a jelly gloss, so it’s not quite as liquidy as other glosses. These apply sheerly, so they are not a pigmented as the Milani or NYX glosses. The glosses are down right tasty, they remind me strongly of fruit punch, so I feel like I have drunk some punch every time I apply this gloss. These are not long lasting at all, but I still think they are worth it just for the mirror like shine they babies give off!
You can find all these glosses at your local drugstore. Always be on the look out for sales!!
Collective Ebay Hauls
So, I have been hauling like crazy on Ebay lately. I have found many good deals on Evil-bay lately, and it’s been stuff that I have been wanting FOR-EVAH now.
Stila Mandarin Baked Eyeshadow Trio in Cool. I love baked eyeshadows, and I found this long discontinued eyeshadow on Ebay for $16, including shipping and insurance. The eyeshadow went for $24-28 when it was in stores. I never got the chance to pick it up when it was in stores, so I am happy to have it now.
Urban Decay Midnight Cowboy lipstick . I tried this and fell in love with it, the last time I was in Sephora, but I was hesitant to spend $25 on one little lipstick. I am slowly moving into higher end lippies, but that is just a redic price in my opinion. However, I nabbed this lipstick on Ebay for $13 and change including shipping. So I was quite happy with it. I love the nude color, and it was a good purchase.
Cover Girl Outlast Lipstains. I have been dying to try these out, but I try not to buy Drugstore products without some type of discount. So I have waiting for months for any store to put Cover Girl on sale BOGO Free, so I can pick up some of these. But so far, there has been no sales on Cover Girl. So I turned to Ebay, and I found someone who was selling all 10 of these lipstains for $30 + shipping. So I happily jumped on this sale, because if you purchase all of these at retail price, which is $8-9 each, you will spend close to $100.
So I am going to add these to my never ending list of products to review, and hopefully I can review everything relatively soon!

New Storage From Target!!

Umbra Loft Aroma Spice Rack
So I was wondering around Target yesterday, and I came across this spice rack on the 75% off rack. It was marked down from $20 to $5, and when I come across those type of deals, I just get a little bit giddy. Since I am always on the lookout for new ways to store my ever growing stash, I thought this would be PERFECT for my favorite / most reached for lippies.
Just to give you an idea of it’s size, it has ten places for jars, and each of those spaces holds either 4 NYX Megashine Lipglosses, or 6 MAC Lipglasses, 5 full size and one mini lipglass. So if you used this for just for MAC lipglasses, you could easily fit 50 full sized MAC lipglasses and 10 mini lipglasses in this spice rack.
Or you could fit 40 NYX Megashine / 30 Revlon Super Lustrous lipglosses in the rack with room to spare. So far these are the only glosses I have tested this rack with, but so far I can reasonably say that this little rack holds a crap load of lippies!
Since I found this on the clearance rack, I am not sure if Target is going to be carrying it anymore. I couldn’t find it on the Target website, so the supply in the stores may be random. If you want this product, your best bet would be to look for it in the store. It’s a shame that it’s going away, because it truly is one of the coolest spice racks I’ve come across.
Lollipop Loving Lipstick by MAC
This lipstick is actually my first Lipstick purchase from MAC. Before, I normally stuck to pigments and lipglasses. I usually only spend a lot of money ($10+) on one product, only if that product is very original.
And Lollipop Loving definitely falls into the original category. It’s a coral lipstick with gold and GREEN undertones to it. A coral lipstick with Green? Believe it, because it is a GORGEOUS lip color that gives a natural pop of color to the lips. The green aspects give the color a stunning twist in certain types of light. I wasn’t able to get a good photograph of this color myself, but you can easily find GREAT pictures of this color on Makeup Alley and on assorted beauty blogs.
Needless to say, I fell in love with this color, and I am seriously saddened to know that this one of the dreaded Limited Edition colors, that seriously needs to become perm. So I had been debating on whether or not to buy a back up of this color while it is still available.
But… I got an idea… one of those crazy ones that might just work. LOL. As you guys know I recently did an order with TKB Trading and bought a ton of pigments from them (27) and I began wondering if there was a way for me to dupe the Lollipop Loving color, or even make a better version of it. Don’t get me wrong, I love LL a lot, but the one thing I feel that it could be improved on is the pigment in the lipstick. It’s very sheer, and I don’t want to waste precious lipstick building up the color.
So I was playing around with some of the lip safe pigments that I got from them, and I think I came up with a more intense version of Lollipop Loving on my hand. I layered three different pigments on my hand and then swatched LL next to it, and they were pretty close, only my mixture was more pigmented. I am planning on doing an other order from TKB Trading hopefully soon, and I’ll grab a sample or two of their lipstick base to see if I have managed to make a of this color or not.
I’ll definitely keep you guys updated!!
Jane Haul & Walgreens News
So I popped into Walgreens today to return a couple of items that didn’t work out for me, and to check out some of the sales going on. Well, I found out today that the Walgreens corporation is getting rid of the Jane Cosmetics line. I believe this is going to be for all of the Walgreens, so if you want to get some Jane, you better get some now, before they are all sold out. I am sad to see this happen, but there are other stores near me that sell Jane thankfully.
I did manage to haul some stuff though before returning to work. I’m very spoiled to work directly across the street from Walgreens and CVS. LOL!
Here is my haul:
Be Pure Gel liner in Black
Be Pure Mineral Crushed Blush in Satin
Be Pure Mineral Blush in Soft Mink, Rose Satin and Tender Blush
Lipgloss in Mocha
So definitely get your butt into Walgreens before Jane disappears off the shelves for good!
New Blog Title!
I was getting tired of writing out Phantom Goddess’s Beauty Obsessions all the damn time, so I gave the name of this place an upgrade, if I may say so myself. The new name of the blog is PG Beauty Online, which to me is a little nicer, and easier to deal with.
What do you guys think? Is it a better name or should I stick with the old one?
