Max Factor has released a new lipstick called “Vivid Impact” that is filled to the brim with pigment. I normally don’t like using Max Factor because of Andrew Luster. But I may have to rethink my views on the brand, after the awesome-ness of this lipstick. It is available in 20 mouth watering pigmented shades, so there should be no problems in finding five or six colors that fit your life.
The main reaon why love this lipstick is it’s extremely creamy and it applies like a dream. The staying power of this lipstick is pretty good, given the fact that I constantly chew on my lips, that is a great quality for this lipstick. Rose Rouge is a meduim pink color that would look good on most skin tones. It’s very flattering for daytime looks. It can be applied so that there is a lot of color, or it can be sheered out for a softer look. Either way, this lipstick is one that belongs in your collection.

CVS Memorial Weekend Haul
Here is my CVS haul from Memorial Day weekend. This haul is all about L’Oreal and Milani products. I ended up buying a backup of one of the L’Oreal eyeshadows – Baby Spice. It is a gorgeous sheer taupe color that is going to be a fave!!!

Target Haul
I finally got around to taking pictures of my Target haul, that did a while ago. I have lots of hauls to catch up with, so expect a lot of haul posts to appear. I didn’t purchase everything at once. So don’t think it was one gigantic mega haul. LOL.
At Target, a lot of Sonia Kashuk products had been clearanced out, so naturally I took advantage of the deep discount to pick a few items. Because, of course, I don’t have enough product already.

Shimmering Sorbets: This is a very pretty shimmery palette that go from natural and sheer to a bright pop of color for the summer. I, of course had to swatch everything ASAP and you can see where I accidently dug my lip brush into the lippie and messed it up. LOL.

Burnished: This is a grayish – taupe color that is extremely pigmented and very soft and blendable. Gorgeous!!

Striking Jewels: This is a gorgeous quad with a deep emerald green, a matte tan, a shimmery bronzy brown and a deep bronzy purple.

Shine That Pink: This is a meduim pink that is absolutely beautiful. The best part is that this has an SPF of 15!

I took these pictures a few months ago, and my camera wouldn’t allow me to download these into my laptop until last night. I personally can’t remember which lipgloss is which, but since they are absolutely identical – it doesn’t really matter.

Small Break – Real Life Interferes
Hello my lovely makeup obsessed friends. I applogize for not posting as much as I should right now, but there are some realife issues I have been dealing with lately. I don’t want to go into too much detail, but a friend of mine has been needing my support while she detaches herself from a destructive relationship from another friend of mine.
I also have been dealing with problems at work, which thankfully doesn’t mean I’m losing my job. But I still have been very much involved in what is going on there. I’m seriously going to try to get some stuff written, but please sit tight for me, while I work out my life right now.
