In order to save some green, skip on the shaving cream and use shower gel or shampoo / conditioner instead. This leaves your skin softer than shaving cream, and you can shave while washing, which saves both money and time.

Instead of washing your face before or after taking a shower, place your scrub or cleanser in the shower, and wash your face during the shower. This allows for a deeper clean because the pores of your face are open, and the stream from the shower rinses the cleanser or scrub off your face better than splashing from the sink.
