NYX Sale, A Very Little Buy, & New Blog
I’m sure all of you already know about the NYX 50% sale that is going on now. So I’m not going to talk about it! The only thing I will say is that is going on now at Cherry Culture and the NYX Cosmetics website. I have taken advantage of this sale, and I will probably take advantage of it again before it’s over on the 15th.
Infact I have made the date of May 15th, the start of a Very Little Buy. This is like a No Buy, but I will cut back my spending a major deal. I have way too much crap as it is, and I’m starting to get annoyed with buying so much makeup. So I want to go on a Very Little Buy, in where I can still purchase something, but do it in a way that it doesn’t consume me anymore. I still want to give myself a little bit of wiggle room, if I find something I really need or want. I want to be able to still purchase my favorite foundtion if I run out or if I come across a brush that I have my heart set on. But no more buying, just to have something. It feel like there isn’t anything new I already don’t have.
I do planning on finishing up my hauling from NYX, but as far as I can see, that’s about it. I don’t see myself doing any huge hauls after that for a while. I am planning on posting about that haul when everything comes in, and my haul from this past week. This past week I bought quite a bit, including MAC and Wet N Wild. I see that I need to find something else to keep me occupied now other than makeup shopping.
On that note, I am seriously, seriously considering starting up a new blog in where I talk about fitness stuff. I really want to get back into working out, and finding new ways to keep myself entertained while working out. Right now I’m looking at purchasing a new pair of rollerblades so I can skate again. I used to skate all the time when I was elementary school when rollerblades were extremely popular. But I’ll keep you guys updated on what is happening with that.
Walgreens Haul and Ramblings
I have decided to take advantage of my gym’s fitness classes. So for the past week or so since starting them, I’ve basically been in lots of pain. LOL. But the classes have been tons of fun. I’ve trying a variety of them, yesterday morning I did an ass-kicking body sculpting class that is becoming more addictive every time I’ve done it. I also took a yoga class last night, and I couldn’t believe how flexible I was. I just lost my balance a couple of times, but I managed to do almost all of the poses with only a medium amount of trouble.
However, my legs are pretty damn sore right now. LOL. So onto my Walgreens Haul. I actually scored all this loot for about $20. So YAY me!

Workout Music
I hit the gym today and jumped on the elliptical machine, which is my favorite piece of cardio. I noticed that I got more into the exercise when I was listening to certain songs, which is something that happens to everyone. So, I thought I’d share my work out songs with all of you!

Blackout by Britney Spears – I know she was going through her breakdown during the production of this album, but every time I put this album on I just feel like moving! There is not a bad song on this album, each and everyone makes me move, making the workout just fly by!
My Power Song: Toy Solider

Bat Out Of Hell & Bat Out Of Hell 3: The Monster Is Loose by Meat Loaf – These albums are two of the most popular and bestselling rock cds on the planet. Meat Loaf is larger than life rock star with a voice to match, and every song on this album is a theatrical masterpiece. I believe everyone needs to have this cd in their collection
My Power Songs: Paradise By The DashBoard Light (Bat Out Of Hell) & Seize The Night (Bat Out Of Hell 3)

Legally Blonde: The Musical – This is the soundtrack to the extremely popular musical based on the hit Reese Witherspoon movie. Like many musicals based on movies, this show has expanded on many of the ideas that were just mentioned in the movie. The entire show is quite hilarious and very enjoyable, especially when you want something light and easy. This is a nice contrast to listening to Meat Loaf.
My Power Song: Whipped Into Shape!
I hope these few selections give some of you inspiration when it comes to working out. All of these albums are available for purchase at your local music store or on Amazon
Happy Listening!
Fitness Journey: My Return to the Gym
Now that I am employed, I will begin going to the gym again. I am going to sign up for a year membership to a local gym that is very respected in my area. I am determined keep up with it, so I am hoping that the classes that are offered will keep me going. If not, all of the cardio machines have personal televisions so I can watch my fave shows while working out.
So wish me luck!
