I have decided to work on a new series starting tomorrow focusing on NYX Cosmetics. I have a ton of NYX that hasn’t been getting nearly enough love from me. I plan on posting new things every day – so there should be at least one post per day – if not more. Even though NYX is still my main focus for a while, I still have obligations to write other reviews of products I have been testing.
So be on the look out
Right now, I’m in what I would call a testing phase. I’ve bought a lot of new face products over the past few weeks, including foundations and other products. I’m super excited about this, because I used to think that my skin didn’t work with foundations, because I kept breaking out, but so far I haven’t had any problem with my skin so far. All of my testing products are from the drugstore, and I’m quite impressed right now.
Here is a list of everything I’m working on right now:
Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Inspired by Carmindy:
Your Skin Liquid Foundation in Nude Beige
Truly Transulcent Loose Powder in Light/ Meduim
Forever Stay Pencil Eyeliner in Jade
Fast Fix Shadow Eye Base
Dream Matte Mousse Foundation
Dream Matte Pressed Powder
Dream Mousse Blush in Rose Petal
Mineral Power Finishing Veil
So far, I’m pretty pleased with some of the items. I was more than pleasantly surprised to learn that Maybelline makes foundations that actually match my skin perfectly. I also haven’t broken out from Maybelline yet either… so that is either because my skin works with the brand or the primer I use is doing a bang up job right now. Either way, I’m definitely pleased.
I can’t say much for the Sally Hansen products, because I don’t want to say one way or another because I may end up having to change my mind on the product. Right now I’m borderline on certain products, and it would be unfair to talk about them until I’m sure.
Otherwise, what would be the point?
Here is a list of reviews that I am planning on writing within the next month or two. I want to say thank you to everyone who sent me messages this past week. At work, I was cut from 35 hours a week to 14. This really threw me for a loop, and I wasn’t exactly in a writing mood the past few days. However, I believe that everything happens for a reason, and I feel that there is only better things coming up for me. Anyway on to the list.
- Olay Professional PRO x Anti-aging Starter Protocol
- L’Oreal Paris Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara
- L’Oreal Paris Ever Pure Sulfate-Free Color Care System (Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner)
- Gillette Venus Razer
- Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/ Liner in Pre-Nup

- Prestige Eyeliner/ Lipliner
- Wet N Wild Speed Gloss
- Wet N Wild Lipsticks

This isn’t the complete list of reviews, I’m planning on. I plan on hauling a few items in the near future that I end up working into this list. But keep this in mind in the next couple of months.
Hey gals and guys, I won’t be posting much for the next couple of days because I just so happen to live in Jacksonville FL, and well take a look:
So if I’m not posting, then you will know why. If you are not familiar with looking at one of these maps, the solid red symbol means hurricane and the one with that is not solid is a tropical storm. So as you can see, I will be getting some hurricane wind and rain the next couple of days. So sit tight for a couple of days.
Anyway the lovely lady Patti from Alice Cosmetics was kind enough to send me a few samples for me to try out. When she asked me to do this, I felt really honored to be chosen for this. I feel that you have ” really made it” as a beauty blogger when makeup companies seek out your opinion on different products, so be prepared for reviews for Alice Cosmetics in the near future.
I swear you guys, I will have to break out a piece of paper and a pen and literally write down everything I want to post on and stick to it!!! Maybe I’ll start writing reviews during the hurricane. You can never go wrong with a pen and paper.
Especially if you are listening to Bat out of Hell I, II, and III
As all of you know I am DYING for Twilight to come out this November, and now we can add another movie to my must see movies. Repo: The Genetic Opera. This is the movie that Paris Hilton is in, along with Anthony Stewart Head (Mr. Giles from Buffy) and Sarah Brightman among others. I am personally a big fan of both Head and Brightman, so seeing them together is going to be amazing. Even Paris seems decent from what I’ve seen of the movie so far.
Besides, the guy who places “GraveRobber” is freakin’ gorgeous!!!!! And his voice is to DIE FOR!!!
So yea, I’m just a wee bit excited for this! I hope it comes out in Wide Release instead of Limited Release, which is what it’s set for right now.The movie is set to come out in November
Here is a picture of Grave Robber:
Here is one of the posters for the fim:
In other blog news, I’m planning on writing some reviews on different products that have made their way into my possession recently, and this includes products from Icings By Claire’s revamped makeup brand. Lately I’ve been on a new product kick, so I’ll have to go through my many stashes and do some reviews and spotlights on different products.
However, I am really, really bad at keeping up with what I say I will write about, and actually doing it. So I am hoping to go through some of my older posts about products I had wanted to write about and finally getting some of those up.
So be on the lookout for some new reviews and spotlights to be appearing on this blog sometime in the near future.
Aromaleigh Cosmetics has a BLAZING FAST turn around time. I made my order late Tuesday night and it arrived in the mail today!!! How incredible is that? They are even faster than Mad Minerals, who are also lightening fast!
I am going to take some pictures later today of my new duo fiber eyeshadow brush and Ultra Resolution powder, and compare the brush to my Sonia Kushak and Flirt’s skunk as well.
So be on the look out for some posts today!!
One of the main reasons I started this blog earlier this year was to have an excuse to buy more makeup than I actually need, you know for research…
Besides, what kind of blogger would I be if I didn’t research all the latest products? This list is one of the results from all my hard research, my current favorite products. These are the products that I absolutely fell in love with, but I wouldn’t call them HG’s.
